Traffic to the site had been stagnat for the last 6 montths. Return visitors were down by 30% and traffic sitting at x percent and were trying to drive traffic by X%. What service(s) and/or feature(s) can we add to the site that can drive more traffic? w/o site trafficie cfom RVs were wontt able to sell ouru services to rv parks owner bc there wont be enough traffic to draw RV park owners.

To discover opportunities and implement solutions to increase site adoption by RV owners and RV park owners, as well as site traffic by X% the end of fall 2024.

Pull “I” statemnts froom the results of the interview findings. Then from the “I” statemtns i find the opportunities. -> then from the opportunities we have, we decide which opportunitie will make the biggest impact. …..then we can probably have an ideation seession (or maybe 2) with the team (xiaoley and ming) to come up with ideas and later we vote as a team on what we vote s the best SOLUTION (IDEA) will most likely help us reach out goal

then we create the user story map as a team, and share it with the team.

Then I can write my asumptions and breakdown into 4 (or 5) catergories visibility, usability, valuue and feasibility assumptons (the 5th is ethical assumpitons).

By writing my assuumptions i weed out my bias, and prevent glaring msitakes

I have my solutions…and i test my assumptions about my solutions.

For my interviews, its important i show i can optimize an expereicne that is already in existence.

my backlog (aka my list of to-dos in jira) is sometihg i can constantlty be using to find new “projects” to featue in my casd studies / portfolio.

HOW I CAME TO A SOLUTIOIN:

  1. I facilitated a workshop where we came up with research quesitons with the team. ….these are the opportunities that came out of the interviews and ….we did some ideation and realized that to make the site more attractive and user friendly we needed to X,Y,Z. …..Then we landeed on an idea and thten we tested the assumptions we had about the idea.

  2. created a user flows with the goal to enable the booking reservations feature.

  3. Park owners needed a way to collect payment from…

  4. Redesigned the interface for dashboard for park owners.

KEY RESULTS

PROBLEM #2 STATEMENT

In order to draw RV park owners to enlist their park in our site, we need to prove to them that site traffic is increasing



PROBLEM #1 ASSUMPTION

Site users have no way of booking an RV park site thorugh the website, so by enabling users to book a site through the site, traffic will go up.

PROBLEM #2 ASSUMPTION

Once we have a feature to increase site traffic by X%, we will be able to attract more RV park owners to enlist their parks on the site.

PROBLEM #3 STATEMENT

As a business, RVparx.com requires additional content to attract more traffic. Additionally, the backend system for RV park owners needs to be more user-friendly and enhanced with improved, well-designed features.
